About Nadia

I’m Nadia LaCroix, a registered acupuncturist practicing Traditional Chinese medicine. During my studies, I was always fascinated by the whole body and mind connections as well as the innate power of holistic medicines. Over the years, I have focused and broadened my studies in a multitude of fields. Being multi-disciplined, I bring a balance therapeutic approach to each treatment. Besides acupuncture, I am certified in an impressive array of wholesome ancient forms of alternative medicines. I am a registered reflexologist, I practice fire cupping and gliding cupping massages, auricular acupuncture including the NADA protocol, bio-field tuning fork therapy, guasha, moxa, acupressure massages, facial beauty rejuvenation acupuncture, as well as being a master/teacher reiki.

I proudly graduated with honours and was the valedictorian of my class. I love to share my sincere love of Traditional Chinese Medicine and holistic health and was invited as a guest on many speaking events, podcast and tv shows. I collaborate weekly with physicians, chiropractors, physiotherapist, osteopaths, massage therapist, psychologists and many more to ensure a well-rounded approach. I love to collaborate with passionate and vibrant people to bring forward an authentic inspiring dialogue towards health and well-being.

I am fluent in French, English and genuine conversations. I believe that we all have a story to tell, and at the end, it’s our innate responsibility to write a masterpiece.

Common Questions and Answers

Do the needles hurt?
Funny anecdote, I’m afraid of typical blood work but not of acupuncture!  It is the ongoing joke every year when I go for testing. Acupuncture uses steril, one time use, hair-thin needles.  Some points are very relaxing and induce an almost instant stress relief effect on the body, if you are under a bit of stress during your first session, make sure to tell me and I will ensure you have the best relaxing experience.

How long is an appointment?
Appointment times vary between 90 minutes to 60 minutes depending on the modalities used.

What do I wear?
Comfy loose clothes are best but not necessary as you will be provided with soft blankets and pillows to rest and relax for the duration of the session, similar to a massage treatment where you will be covered and comfortable.

How can I expect to feel afterwards?
Patients reacts differently after a session, they will usually feel relaxed, grounded, clearer and more at peace.

The most creative act you will ever undertake is the act of creating yourself.
